One of the key challenges facing Governments and large organisations world wide, is the ability to recognise and eliminate the payment of Government Salaries/Wages/Pensions to “Ghost Workers”. As the UEPS Banking Application utilises fingerprint methodology as the form of identification and verification for smart cardholders, the fingerprint images and detailed UEPS created templates collected per person registered, are stored on a separate Biometric Server held in each country.

As a separate optional module, we have developed our UEPS Biometric Search Station Application to serve as a FRAUD MANAGEMENT TOOL.
