Many countries are in the process of developing strategic plans to co-ordinate the multiple global initiatives to expand access to HIV care (ARV drugs)/medical drugs) and treatment. There are a number of priority areas to be addressed in developing a national medical stock control, patient identification and drug allocations system. These priority areas include; pharmaceutical planning and logistics, human resources training, allocations and supervision, infrastructure, funding, distribution channels and reporting. Net1 has designed its “MEDICAL STOCK CONTROL, PATIENT IDENTIFICATION & DRUG ALLOCATION APPLICATION” addressing these challenges faced by Government, Medical Suppliers or Donor Foundations to provide an accurate stock control, fraud, alterations and falsification of date, patient statistics, etc. An accurate and secure end-to-end system is required that monitors the entire drug stock levels from order placements, to the loading of the drugs onto the distribution vehicles destined for various locations of a country, to the off-loading and transferring of the drugs from the distribution vehicle to the Health Care person responsible for receiving the stock. By emphasizing the accuracy of the stock movement from the distribution vehicles into the Health Care Clinics, any collaboration between the two person biometrically signing off the transfer of stock will soon be detected as the stock levels in each clinic will be monitored after batch settlement to the Host every evening with detailed reports available the following morning. This therefore enables Government or Donor Foundations to identify clinics that are not moving the ARV/medical drug stock as quickly as others and transfer the stock to other clinics in need of stock. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Benefits of the Application:
